Position Description # of Hours
Team Parent Be the right hand support for your child’s Coach. Help communicate important information to other parents and assist your child’s coach with various tasks throughout the season. 10 hours

 

 

 

Ribbon Parent Assist your child’s coach with the organization and distribution of event ribbons at the end of each track meet. 10 hours

 

 

Finish Line Helper This job puts you right in the center of the action. Wait at the finish line to congratulate our athletes as they finish their race, and deliver the finish order information to the timing tent. 2 hour increments

 

 

 

Concessions Assist in selling concessions during our home track meets at the snack bar. 2 hour increments

 

 

Hurdles Assist our hurdle Coach in setting up and tearing down the hurdles for each race. 1 hour increments

 

 

Staging At the staging tent volunteers put athletes in the appropriate order and “stage” them for their upcoming heat. 2 hour increments

 

 

Sticker Table Greet our athletes as they arrive to the track meet and help distribute the event bar code labels to each child. 2 hour increments

 

 

Field Event Helper Assist coaches with varying tasks for the field events of Long Jump, Shot Put, and High Jump. 2 hour increments

 

 

On-field Assistance Assist in tasks such as, manning the water table, assisting the timing tent, or posting race times and results. 2 hour increments

 

 

Volunteer Table Help “check-in” track meet volunteers who have signed up to help online. Also, it will require assigning last minute volunteers to tasks when areas are requiring more assistance. 2 hour increments

 

 

 

Apparel Table Sell Running Rebel Apparel, stickers, and spikes to athletes and spectators at home meets. 2 hour increments

 

 

Gate Monitor Man the field entrance gate and ensure only athletes and coaches are exiting the course gate while directing everyone else to the appropriate area. 2 hour increments
